LET’S MANAGE THE
RUBBISH

Honorable
all the juries, honorable committee of the English speech contest, ladies and
gentlemen. First of all, let’s thanks be to Allah SWT who has given us mercing
ad blassing, so we can join this program healthy and happily, without any
troubles. Sholawat and salm be to our prophet Muhammad who guided us from the
darkness to the lightness, that is Islam. Let me thank to the committe who give
me opportunity to join this program. English speech contest.
Ladies
and gentlemen. In this opportunity, I would like to perform a speech with a
tittle “let’s manage the rubbish.”
Why
should we manage the rubbish ?
Ladies
and gentlemen. The rubbish that has not managed well will cause a source of
problems. We know that we produce much more rubbish every day, especially home
rubbish. Many of stuffs that we use are made by plastics, glass, paper and iron.
Because of producing rubbish is more and more, we have difficulties to manage
it, even for the employee of the rubbish himself. Those problems cause air
pollution, flood, enhealthy environment and many kind of diseases. So, who will
take the risk of those problems ?
Brothers
and sisters. As human being, we have to responsible for what we have done to
our nature. We have to solve those environment problems. We must try to change
our environment to be a healthy thing, we must make our environment clean, we
must make other people comfort in our environment. The problem solves are our
selves.
Mojokerto
is about 16.000 km wide compared with the total population about 6 million at
night is twice more then at noon. The overload population in this city produce
much more rubbish. Especially at Mojosari. Few people manage the rubbish by
themselves. But, the scavengers also do something to the rubbish. They collect
scraps from unneeded goods and sell them. Many communities recycle the rubbish
to be meaning full things.
Brothers
and sisters. Theenviroment problems, especially rubbish need more effort to
manage them. The rubbish that cannot be manage well will pollute air, water,
and impact skin and digestion problem. But if we can manage it well, it will
give us many advantages. For the example, the dry waste can be recycled to be
something useful. Not only dry waste that can increase economic value, but also
the wet waste can be recycled to be compost.
Ladies
and Gantlement. By these actions. We hope we can manage rubbish well, we can
decrease the load of rubbish, we can make our environment clean and healthy
Ladies and gentlement. This is my
speech that I can deliver today. If there are some mistake, please oppolojise
